Joanne Duncan is the Member of Parliament for the State Electorate of Macedon and part of the Brumby Labor Government.
What does Joanne do?
As the State Member for Macedon, Joanne helps residents, schools, businesses and other groups with Victorian Government matters and works hard to improve the local community. She meets with residents and organisations; works with ministers and government departments; attends local events and visits local schools and businesses.
Another important part of Joanne’s job as both the State Member for Macedon and as a member of the Brumby Labor Government is to attend State Parliament where Joanne makes speeches and votes on bills and legislation.

When was Joanne elected?
Joanne was elected as the State Member for Gisborne in l999 and later, following an electorate redistribution, elected as the first Member for Macedon in 2002, and re-elected in 2006
