Joanne Duncan's achievements for local families include:
- Delivering the new $21.4 million Sunbury Day Hospital
- $14 million for the new Kyneton Hospital
- $8 million for the Sunbury Community Health Centre
- Supply of Natural Gas to Woodend, Romsey, Gisborne, New Gisborne, Riddells Creek, Lancefield and Macedon
- A 24 hour ambulance service for Sunbury and an increase in ambulance officers across the Macedon electorate
- Rebuilt and modernised schools across the Macedon electorate, with extra teachers and support staff, lower class sizes and more classroom computers
- Increased availability of public transport with more buses, more trains and upgrades to rail infrastructure
- Duplicated the Macedon Street Bridge and Vineyard Road Sunbury
- Police stations rebuilt in Romsey, Macedon, Lancefield, Gisborne and Riddells Creek supporting record numbers of police officers in our community
